Buggy-friendly walks Galway – Salthill (Blackrock)

Blackrock Salthill 2

As outlined in a previous post there are three walks in Salthill. The Blackrock walk is a continuation of the promenade starting at the diving tower, taking you west towards Salthill Caravan and Camping Park.

This is the ideal path as it is so accessible for all small wheels and relatively flat. Sandwiched between the golf course and the sea there’s a real sense of space and calm along this stretch. Plenty of stones along the side for any  mini Macapacas out there – mine had a field day. The only parking options are along the prom. As it is usually quite busy here we park on Threadneedle Road located at the roundabout beside the diving tower.
