CHALLENGING BUT WORTH IT!
Location: Ticknock, Dublin Mountaints (3km south west of Sandyford)
Path: Tarmac, very steep incline. The start is marked by a barrier and info boards. (see photos).
Parking: Various points on route to the walk
Facilities: None
Features: Forest, stunning views over Dublin City and Bay.

If you are looking for a buggy-pushing challenge then this is the walk for you! The path is tarmacked but be warned it is a very steep hill from the bottom to the top. My calf muscles are still suffering but it was totally worth it. Needless to say it’s a fabulous feeling once you reach the top.
